Australian War Memorial
Many trips to the capital city of Australia, quickly turned into another favorite destination! Canberra reminds me of Asheville, NC with the surrounding mountains and wonderful vibe but that’s about where the similarities end. Winters are mild and summer is very hot and had the chance to experience both. My favorite outdoor activity here was running around the lake in front of Parliament and also hiking to the communication tower on a nearby hill. Highly recommend spending a few days here if you make it to Australia!
