Managed Testing Center

  • As MTC Program Manager, built and launched a Managed Testing Center (MTC) from a staff augmentation model to a fully operational managed services model with a 15% to 85% ratio of onsite to offshore staffing; 100 resources.

  • Designed end-to-end process and governance model for the MTC including best practices for knowledge and document management, forecasting, Measurement/Metrics/KPIs/Reporting, and STLC audit process to ensure service delivery was within defined SLAs

  • Operationalized and built a Best in Class service delivery and reporting portal that replaced manual reporting techniques with collaborative interfaces and automated reporting.  Provided live views of service delivery (status, progress, dates, metrics)

Key Wins

  • $15M / Yr - Built a greenfield team of 200 testing resources for a large North American retailer; taking full ownership of all testing for supply chain including establishing new reporting frameworks and rigorous service delivery process.

  • $4.5M/ Yr - Renewal of the MTC contract

  • $1M / Yr - Post assessment, built a new testing team of 50 resources for a large private retailer and crafted a customized reporting portal unique to their needs.

  • $600k / Yr - Post assessment implementation of SAP business to IT testing migration for major US airline

Consulting & Transformation Assessments

  • Was the architect of the “Mind360” framework for QEA that incorporated custom-built SharePoint portals and integration of disparate systems into a single interface for reporting. The framework included reporting on the following key areas: Financials, In-flight testing status, KPI/Metrics, Governance data, Operational data, and staffing information.

  • Lead the quality transformation assessment for a large financial services firm.  12 Person team, 10 weeks in length.  $300k in revenue.

  • Completed quality assessment for a major US airline; operationalizing and transforming testing for SAP from business to IT (9 mos)

  • Conducted a 3 month consulting engagement to establish KPIs and reporting for a 600 person QMO; working directly for the CIO

  • Program manager for a large pharmaceutical company’s deployment of Workday

  • Designed the Initiative and Recommendation roadmaps, post assessment, to implement a TCOE model for the parent of several large grocery chains

Testing as a Service (Taas)

  • Transformed a contract manufacturing client from staff augmentation model to Testing as a Service (TaaS) via custom built Sharepoint portal solution; resulting in end to end lifecycle management of the software testing process. $1M+ in revenue per year.

  • The TaaS portal provided Project managers the ability to estimate project cost for SAP testing services, budget accordingly, and ultimately request those same services all through the portal.

  • The full service life cycle of TaaS was managed via the portal including service status and invoicing.
